A drug bust at the Relax Inn on Martha Berry Blvd resulted in three arrest over the weekend. Reports stated that a search warrant was executed in room 209 and during the process police located suspected synthetic marijuana, methamphetamine, a digital scale, marijuana and three guns.

Arrested were: Eric Dennis McConnell, 28 of Rome,  Timothy Derrell Dupree, 24 of Atlanta, Kayla Mae Kinney, 25 of Caver Spring, Ronnie Jackson Vanmeter, 19 of Rome and Crashun Jogno Patio, 25 of Rome,

All are charged with three counts of possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of meth, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of marijuana.

McConnell is additionally charged with probation violation, possession of drug related objects, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and failure to appear.

Kinney is additionally charged with two counts of contempt of superior court, and probation violation.

Vanmeter is also charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

Patio is additionally charged with probation violation.

Dupree was also charged with giving police a false name and date of birth while being fingerprinted at the Floyd County Jail.

He was charged with two counts of forgery, providing a false name to police and obstructing a criminal investigation.
