Tony Lamonte Monroe, 18 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome at a home on Wilson Avenue after he was found to be in possession of drugs that were intended for resale and a gun.
Reports stated that officers found pills that were not in their original container and a pistol in his pocket. Officers also stated that they found a large quantity of marijuana , digital scales, marijuana and pills in a bag for packaged for resale.
Monroe is charged with drugs not in original container, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug related objects, possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession and carrying a concealed weapon without a license and distribution, possession or sale of marijuana.
