A fifth person has been arrested in a theft case that occurred early last month.
Kevin Logan Scott Drought, 17 of Rome, was arrested on Friday and charged with theft by taking.
Two additional arrest have been made in a case where a woman’s belongings were stolen from her home back on May 7th of this year.
Reports said that Courtnee Mack and Meagan Breely Drought, both 18 of Rome, were charged with theft by taking.
Reports said she stole property from a 20 year-old woman back on May 7th of this year.
Reports said that the Mack and Drought joined Caroline and Jessica McCranie and stole less than $1,500 of belongings from the home of Oceanna Reed on Burnett Ferry Road.
Caroline Taylor McCranie, 18, and Jessica Ann McCranie of Rome, was taken into custody on Wednesday after reports said she stole property from a 20 year-old woman back on May 7th of this year.
Reports said that the McCranie sisters took property, valued at less than $1,500, from the home of Oceanna Reed on Burnett Ferry Road.
Both are charged with theft by taking.
Reports said that other arrest in the case are pending.
