Jennifer Lynn Mashburn, 38 of Rome, was arrested for numerous theft crimes while working as a property manager at RHM Inc in Rome.
Reports said that while working as property manager Mashburn purchased two tickets, for a total of $293.50, to a science fiction convention using the company’s credit card in 2014. Reports added that Mashburn reported that the money was used for a “training seminar”.
She is also accused of manipulating ledger accounts to benefit a renter at the business. Reports said that Mashburn deprived the company out of $7,075 from January 2016 until April 2017.
Reports went on to say that Mashburn took two checks from a renter with the intent to deprive the owner of the property of their money. The value of the checks totaled $650. That allegedly occurred in May 2017.
Mashburn is charged with theft by deception, theft by conversion and theft by taking.
