Tyrance Jamarr Diamond, 18 of Rome, was arrested on Thursday after he was accused of placing his hands around a 15 year-old girls throat and strangled her.
Reports added that the incident occurred in front of the victim’s 15 year-old brother.
Diamond is charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
