Jesse Joel Hanson, 62 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend after being pulled over for driving without a taillight and admitting to police that he made counterfeit money.
Reports said that he had a counterfeit $10 bill on him at the time of the arrest.
Hanson is charged with second degree forgery and a tail light requirement.
