James Michael Pilcher, 56 of Armuchee, was arrested on Tuesday after he was allegedly found with methamphetamine.
Reports said that he admitted that he was going to sell the drug to a woman he knew, and that he was not “using it himself”.
Police said that the incident occurred on Maple Road back on July 16, 2016.
Pilcher is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute and two court order guilty verdicts.
