Derrick Wayne Mobbs, 32 of Rome, was arrested after physically attacking a 47 year-old man at a home on Strand Street.
Reports stated that Mobbs repeatedly punched victim in face with closed fist, which resulted in him being busted open.
Mobbs is charged with battery and probation violation.
