Javarick Javon McCain, 21 of Rome, was sentenced to eight years in prison to be followed by seven years of probation after pleading guilty to a robbery that resulted in a man being killed and several others wounded.
The sentence was handed down after McCain pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and participation in criminal street gang activity.
Zjuantavious Marquis Jackson, 25,was sentenced to life in prison without parole, plus 25 years, Thursday for the murder of Detavious Jamalcom Milner.

Zjuantavious Marquis Jackson, 25, was found guilty of murdering Detavious Jamalcom Milner on Thursday in Floyd County Superior Court.
Jackson was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Jackson was also facing a charge of participating in gang activity, but that was dropped.
A co-defendant, Joseph Hamilton Jackson, testified at the trial that Zjuantavious was the gunman in the murder.
He and and third co-defendant, Javarick Javon McCain, have yet to stand trial.

A grand jury has indicted two men for the murder of Detavious Jamalcom Milner, who was shot in 2015 at a Copeland Street home. Zjuantavious Marquis Jackson and Javarick Javon McCain were arrested and charged with the murder earlier this year. Joseph Jackson was charged with Milner’s murder on April 9, 2015.
Reports said that the men went inside the home at 20 Copeland Street on Paril 7, 2015. Reports added that one of the men shot Milner while another demanded money.
Three other victims were wounded, but has since recovered.

On Wednesday Zjuantavious Marquis Jackson, 25, and Javarick Javon McCain, 21, both of Rome were arrested for the murder of 22 year-old Detavious Jamalcom Milner at his home. This makes the third arrest in the case. Joseph Hamilton Jackson, 29 of Rome, was arrested last June for his involvement.
Authorities said that the men not only shot and killed Milner, but several others were also hit by bullets. The men then allegedly stole $1,200 in cash before fleeing the home.
Zjuantavious Jackson, who police said is associated with the Bloods Gang, is charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, participating in gang activity, robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Jackson was found at a home on Evergreen Lane in Cedartown and McCain was captured several hours later at a Kohl’s store in Dalton.
McCain is charged with murder and participation in criminal street gang activity.
Police added that they believe that Jackson was the shooter, instead of Joseph Jackson who was charged with Milner’s murder on April 9, 2015.
Joseph Jackson had been released from prison on parole in June 2014. His murder trial was set to begin on Tuesday, but was cancelled.

Police said that the suspects entered 20 Copeland St. where Milner was shot to death and three others were hit with gunfire. $1,200 in cash was taken from one of the victims before the suspects left the home.
