John Dallas Ivey, 37 of Rome, was arrested Tuesday after an altercation with his girlfriend became physical.
Reports said that the couple got into an argument and Ivey then grabbed her by the arm and forced her around the bedroom.
Reports then went on to state that Ivey proceeded to chase the victim around the home in an ‘attempt to gain control.”
Police said that when they arrived on scene they found the victim with visible redness and scratch marks on her arm.
Ivey is charged with simple battery.
