Rome Police said that a customer of the Relax Inn on Martha Berry Blvd turned over $500 in counterfeit money on Sunday.
Reports stated that the man said he was looking for something under the dresser when he found 10 fake $50 bills.
Investigators have placed the funny money into evidence.
