Jason Robert Cowart, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly injured a 33 year-old woman.
Reports stated that the couple got into a physical altercation at a home on West Big Indian Trail. Cowart is accused of hitting the woman in the face, which required her to get stitches.
Cowart is charged with simple battery.
