Eric Dennis McConnell, 27 of Rome, was arrested on Monday for attacking a woman with a kitchen knife at a home on Burnett Street.
Reports stated that McConnell used a knife to assault the victim with the “intent to murder with a deadly weapon.”
Reports added that the attack occurred on January 18th of this year.
McConnell is charged with aggravated assault and probation violation.
