Two metro Atlantians were arrested in Rome Thursday on similar charges, around the same time, but in different locations. Haylie Jordan Whitlow, 19 of Atlanta, was found to be in possession of a fake identification card. Reports added that Whitlow was attempting to commit fraud at Ford Gittings and Kane Jewelers with the card.
Whitlow is charged with first degree forgery and six counts of identity fraud.
Diante Gore, 29 of Fairburn, was allegedly at Mount Berry Square Mall and was accused of illegally possessing another’s information in an effort to commit fraud.
Gore is charged with six counts of identity fraud.
