Anthony Paul Shedd, 49, of Rome, was arrested Wednesday after he was accused of molesting a 9 year-old girl.
Reports stated that the acts occurred between January of 2015 and December 2016 at a home on Abrams Road in Silver Creek.
Reports added that the child was “physically injured” during the crime.
Shedd is charged with aggravated child molestation and probation violation.
