Jimmy Lee Ashworth, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly aggressively pointed a gun at a 39 year-old man at a home on Oreburg Road.
Reports added that a juvenile was at the scene and witnessed the event.
Ashworth is charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
