A 61 year-old homeless Rome man, Michael Eugene Rayburn, was arrested over the weekend after police said he was found with a .50 caliber rifle.
A report added that Rayburn is a convicted felon and was not allowed to have a gun.
He was found in a homeless camp off the Loop near the Oostanaula River around noon on Saturday.
