Charles Anthony Parker Jr., 33 of Rome, was arrested and transferred from Etowah County, Alabama to Floyd County Wednesday after warrants stated he failed to update his home address on the sex offender registry.
Parker was arrested in 2005 for statutory rape in Catoosa County.
Parker is charged with felony failure to register as a sex offender/ failure to comply with requirements.
