Ronald Dwight Hammit, 41 of Rome, was arrested at the Quick Stop on Maple Street Christmas Eve after being accused of stalking a woman who had taken a protective order against him.
Reports added that while being booked into the Floyd County Jail he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Hammit is charged with aggravated stalking, possession of methamphetamine and crossing a guard line with drugs.
