Jared Roy Buffington, 36 of Rome, was arrested on Tuesday after reports stated he pushed a 32 year-old woman to the ground, causing bruising to her back.
Reports added that the attack occurred on May 22 of this year.
Reports went on to state that Buffington failed to report a change of address, failed to report to his probation officer and failed to pay his probation fine back on May.
Buffington is charged with battery, contempt of court and probation violation.
