Jhericus Rhachad Moran, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he hit a car and then proceeded to leave the scene of the accident.
Reports stated that the accident occurred at the corner of Turner McCall Blvd and North 5th Avenue.
Officers stated that after Moran was found he told them that the vehicle involved had been stolen.
A search uncovered a bag of suspected marijuana inside the vehicle.
After arriving at the Floyd County Jail deputies stated that another bag of suspected marijuana was found on him.
Moran is charged with false report of a crime, driving without a license, possession of marijuana, hit and run, crossing a guard line with drugs and probation violation.
