Tyrus Devon Spivey, 27 of Rome, was arrested Monday at the Kings Inn on Martha Berry Blvd on a probation warrant and more.
Reports stated that Spivey was wanted by authorities for violating his probation following his DUI and drug possession arrest.
During a search of the room on Monday police also located a STW .99 mm pistol. Since Spivey is a convicted felon he is not allowed to possess a firearm.
Spivey is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.
