Quortavious Shamar Spurgeon, 18 of Cedartown, was arrested at Callahan Street at North Broad on numerous felony charges following a traffic stop.
Reports stated that when police pulled him over he was found in possession of an unloaded pistol, marijuana and digital scales.
After arriving at the jail it was discovered that Spurgeon lied about his identity to police.
Spurgeon is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects and giving a false name to police.
