An inmate at the Floyd County jail, Linda Ann Barnes, 33 of Rome, is now facing additional charges after an investigation uncovered she was allegedly responsible for past financial card frauds.

Reports stated that Barnes stole a credit card from a home on Nanellen Road in West Rome back on June 2nd.  They added that Barnes charged over $150 dollars in expenses on the card.

She is now charged with felony financial transaction card theft and felony financial transaction card fraud Friday.

She was arrested on June 18th and has remained in the jail since. She was charged with possession of meth, felony escape, obstruction of law enforcement, possession of drug relate objects,

Linda Ann Barnes, 33, of Rome, was arrested this week (March 31, 2016)for allegedly breaking into a home on Crosscreek Drive back on March 13, 2016. Reports said that the victim reported a flat screen TV and a Roku box, valued at $250, was taken from the home.

Barnes is charged with first degree-burglary.
