A routine traffic stop by Rome police led officers to a drug arrest. Reports stated that Mark Thirston Tate, 34 of Rome, was pulled over at the corner of Copeland and Harvey Streets for driving on an expired tag.
During the officer officers also uncovered that Tate was allegedly driving on a suspended license.
They added that at one point in the traffic stop officers spotted Tate “throwing a glass smoking pipe from the vehicle that contained methamphetamine.
Tate was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, expired tag and possession of methamphetamine.
