Carmelia Lynn Batchelor, 34 of Armuchee, was arrested following a traffic stop on Ga 1 at Hwy 140 for allegedly being intoxicated and driving with children in her vehicle.
Reports stated that Georgia State Patrol troopers pulled Batchelor over for driving 63 in a 45 zone. After pulling her over troopers allegedly found an open container in the vehicle. She was then discovered to be driving under the influence.
A child under the age of 14 years-old was in the car at the time.
Batchelor is charged with driving under the influence, endangering a child by DUI, open container and speeding in excess of maximum limits.
