Anthony Dewayne Davis, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly imprisoned a female inside a bedroom earlier this month.
Reports said that Davis physically restrained the woman inside a bedroom of a home. Authorities added that children were present at the time of the altercation.
Davis is charged with battery, four counts of cruelty to children, first degree burglary and false imprisonment.

Anthony Dewayne Davis, 44 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend by Georgia State Patrol troopers after they allegedly found methamphetamine in his car. Reports said that Davis was initially pulled over after running a red light at the intersection of Calhoun and Barron Roads.
Davis is charged with felony meth possession, along with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, driving on an expired license and failure to obey a traffic control device..
