Joe Demerol Hudson, 27 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend for spraying a child with pepper spray. Reports said that back on May 29th an altercation with a woman resulted in her 6-month-old child being dropped on its head. Reports added that Hudson was attempting to spray the child’s mother, but instead hit the child in the face.
Hudson is charged with felony cruelty to children in the second degree and misdemeanor charges of battery, reckless conduct and public drunkenness.
