Robert Wade Kimmel, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week for stealing cell phones from Wal-Mart. Reports said that Kimmel used a tool to remove three smartphones from a display at the West Rome Wal-Mart.
Officials said that in the process Kimmel damaged two of the phones and stole the other.
Reports listed the value of the stolen and damaged items at $1,819.76.
He was with felony smash and grab burglary.
