An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Travis Ray Campbell, 37 of Summerville, is facing additional charges after reports said he started a riot.  According to jail officials, Campbell fought with three officers, eventually hitting one in the eye on Wednesday.

 

Campbell is now facing felony charges of rioting in a penal institute, three counts of obstruction and aggravated battery.

 

He was booked into the Floyd County Jail on April 22, 2016 on charges of terroristic threats and acts.
