Juston Donail Sil­mon, 28 of Rome, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, along with life on parole, this week for raping a Floyd County woman who was asleep on a couch back in April 2015.

Reports said that Silmon’s wife was in sleeping in another room at the home while the woman was being raped.

The victim awaken during the act and pushed Silmon off.  She reportedly then left the home and notified police.

Silmon was found guilty by a jury during the first week of March.

He will have to register as a sex offender when he gets out of prison.
