Brandon Michael Davis, 37 of Stone Mountain, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week on numerous theft charges. Reports said that since 2012, Davis has been pawning rented items along with renting other items and failing to pay or return them to the rental store in Rome.
In March 2012, Davis allegedly rented an Acer laptop, valued at $350, and then later pawned it. Later that month Davis allegedly rented a big screen television from Rent-A-Center and then later allowed his girlfriend to pawn it.
On January 8, 2013, reports said that Davis entered a lease purchase agreement with Complete Cash to purchase a Dell Touch Screen computer. Reports said that he failed to pay for, or return the computer.
On March 11, he entered into a lease purchase agreement to buy a dell touch screen computer. Reports said that he failed to pay for, or return the computer. The computer was valued at $1,501.
On March 23 obtained $300 from Pawn Mart for pawning an Apple Mac book computer that his girlfriend had rented from Rent-A-Center.
Davis is charged with three counts of felony theft by conversion, misdemeanor theft by conversion, and two counts theft by deception
