Calhoun Police recently arrested four suspects in connection with an assault and robbery that occurred at the Super 8 Motel on Hampton Drive. Report said that officers were told by the victim that “several people had forced their way into his room, physically assaulted him and took his wallet.” The victim, 36-year-old Felix Montano, was able to give officers a description of the vehicle driven by the suspects and was able to locate and arrest the suspects a short distance from the crime scene.

Montano also told police that he had attended school with the suspects but did not know their names. He was later sent to a local hospital with possible facial fractures.

Police were later able to locate and arrest David Alan Stephens, 24 of Calhoun, and charged him with possession of methamphetamine, aggravated battery and robbery. Also arrested were Morgan Brittany Dapo, 25 of Adairsville, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, aggravated battery and robbery; Michael Albert Taylor, 33, of Ball Ground, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving while license suspended, improper tag, aggravated battery and robbery; and Carol Ann Timms, 31 of Calhoun, on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

The victim, Montano, was also arrested and charged after police found suspected methamphetamine and digital scales inside the hotel room.
