A Polk County man was killed when a car collided with a tractor he was driving. Reports said that Jerry Eugene Robinson 59, was driving down Bellview Road when Stacie Waddell Henson, 34 of Silver Creek, struck the back of his tractor at a ‘a high rate of speed’.

Police said that Henson’s Honda Accord struck a hay bale that was being carried by Robinson, causing the tractor to flip and overturn into a ditch.

Robinson was then ejected from the tractor, and in the process suffered blunt force trauma to his dead and neck.
Henson was charged with felony homicide by vehicle in the first degree, along with misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, no insurance and following too closely.
Robinson was pronounced dead at Polk Medical Center on Saturday.
Robinson’s body was transported to the Georgia Crime Lab in Decatur for an autopsy.
