An altercation at Applebees in Rome led to the arrest of Jerry Eugene McClain, 46 of Rome. Reports said that McClain unholstered a Hi-Point .45 caliber handgun while intoxicated. Reports added that he then dropped the gun to the floor while in a crowd of people.
McClain is charged with reckless conduct and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
