The Rome Floyd Metro Drug Task Force arrested eight people over the weekend at a home on East 19th Street on numerous drug and other charges.

Gregory Dean Pitts, 57, of Rome is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony; possession of meth with intent to distribute; possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute; possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with the intent to distribute; possession of meth; possession of cocaine; and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. He is also facing parole violation, tampering with evidence, drugs not in the original container, possession and use of drug-related objects and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana charges.

Lucas Lorenzo Waddell, 34 of Rome, was charged with felony conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, conspiracy to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to distribute oxycodone.He was also charged with misdemeanor obstruction for trying to flee on foot.

Candice Nicole ChasĀ­tain, 26 of Rome, is charged with felony possession of meth and misdemeanor possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Ronald Cheyenne Kelley, 38 of Rome, is charged with possession of meth, purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.

Mary Elizabeth Kelley, 38 of Rome, is charged with possession of meth and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Jody Morris Strickland, 36 of Cedartown, is charged with possession of meth and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Ann Marie Tant, 23 of Rome, is charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, drugs not in the original container and willful obstruction of police officers.

Joshua Lee Lecroy, 31 of Lindale, is charged with meth possession and the purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana.
