A Silver Creek man arrested earlier this week for cashing a fake check is now facing additional charges. Reports said that Toby Lance Eden, 23, is now charged with two counts of felony theft by receiving motor vehicles after officers found two stolen motorcycles. Police said that Eden possessed a Suzuki 125 and Yamaha 90 that he knew was stolen.

Toby Lance Eden, 23 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after police said he attempted to pass a counterfeit check written for $1,394.82. Reports said that he wrote a check on someone else’s account back on June 12th at Regions Bank on Turner McCall Boulevard, however, the check was a different type that the account holders.

Eden is charged with felony executing or negotiating counterfeit checks, three probation violations and misdemeanor fourth-degree forgery
