A Floyd County Judge sentenced convicted murderer Kyle Timmons, 21 of Trion, to life on prison this week.  Timmons was convicted of shooting and killing Dominique Spear, 24, in the parking lot of Callier Forrest Apartments on September 23, 2014.

He was found guilty of felony murder and aggravated assault back in October of this year.

He was was acquitted of a malice murder charge.

Reports said that Timmons actually called the police at the time of the shooting and said that he had shot someone.
