Rome Police arrested Melva Lee Louis, 63 of Rome, over the weekend after they said she stole Christmas gifts out of several cars at the West Rome Wal-Mart on Friday morning. She was found at her home on Callier Springs Road.
Louis is charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit theft and theft by receiving stolen property.
