Shea Kendrix, 33 of Rome, found himself behind bars over the weekend after reports said an undercover officer gave him $20 for marijuana at the Economy Inn on Martha Berry Boulevard and then failed to give it back to him.
Kendrix is charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance after police found suspected hydrocodone pills with him.
He is also facing theft by taking because he never returned money
