A 50 year-old Rome woman was arrested on Saturday after police said she shot 31 year-old Samantha Rodriguez in the shoulder. Diane Michelle Cox was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault. Reports said that shooting occurred at Cox`s home at 256 Pearson Road.
Police said that Cox shot the victim with a Ruger MK .22 in the shoulder, `causing great bodily harm.`
Reports said that the women were neighbors.
