Stroke survivors and caregivers can find support, camaraderie and education during a free monthly support group organized by Atrium Health Floyd.

The Stroke Survivor Support Group will meet the first Thursday of each month at noon at Suite 101, 304 Shorter Ave., Rome. The first meeting will take place Nov. 6.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other stroke survivors, share experiences and learn how they can better navigate daily living.

“This support group provides attendees the opportunity to get fresh ideas and share useful information with other stroke survivors,” said Breanna Merrell, RN, coordinator of stroke care at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center.
