Joahan Segura Caldera, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted two children with a gun at an apartment on Blankenship Place.
Police said that Caldera pointed a gun at the victims, an 11-year-old and 8 8-year-old, while threatening to kill them.
Reports added that Caldera was in arm’s reach of the victim’s while pointing the gun at them.
Caldera is charged with two counts aggravated assault, two counts cruelty to children, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and failure to appear.
