Mrs. Charlotte Ann Proctor, age 88. of Rome, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at her granddaughter’s residence.
Mrs. Proctor was born in Floyd County, Georgia on June 14, 1936, daughter of the late Charlie Hood and the late Lucille Daugherty Hood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Proctor, Sr.; a son, Michael Leigh Proctor; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Perri; a daughter-in-law, Becky Proctor; a grandson, Chris Crawford; and a sister, Carol Camp. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Proctor was an Administrative Secretary at Floyd Medical Center. She was a member of East Rome Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling and golf.
Survivors include a daughter, Jan Proctor Dudley (Tim); two sons, John Thomas Proctor, Jr. and Mitchell Lamar Proctor; a son-in-law, Samuel Perri; grandchildren, Brittany Ware (Casey), Brian Dudley, Phillip Crawford, Jenny Crawford, and Ben Crawford; great grandchildren, Brinley Sisson, Aysia Day, Laethan Day, C.J. Ware, Jayla Ware, Daniel Crawford, and Terri Crawford; great-great grandchildren, Everliegh, Emersyn, Eleanor, and Endi Sisson; nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 2pm at Floyd Memory Gardens. Rev. Gary Diggs will officiate.
