Christopher Wyatt, 49 of Cedartown, was arrested recently after reports said he punched his girlfriend in the face in front of her child.
Reports said that the victim told police that she and her boyfriend, Christopher Wyatt, had spent the day together and everything had been fine. However, when a verbal dispute began, Wyatt struck her with a closed fist in her face.
The victim suffered swelling and bruising above the victim’s eye.
The incident occurred in front of her daughter.
Wyatt is charged with simple battery and cruelty to children in the 1st degree.
