Mrs. Cathryn Charlene Hyde, age 70, of Lindale, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Hyde was born in Rockmart, Georgia on February 20, 1955, daughter of the late John Taylor Ingram and the late Beulah Beatrice Sisson Ingram. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William David Hyde, by two sisters, Wanda Boyd and Annie Lee Sanford, and by a brother, Larry Ingram, Sr. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Hyde worked for the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office for over 30 years, retiring as a Sergeant. She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Ursula Shawn Hyde-Harris (Lisa); a granddaughter, Haley Tuggle (Bryan); three great grandchildren, Elijah Falls, Harper Tuggle, and Olivia Tuggle; a sister, Linda Blair (Wayne), nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel Rev. Rodney Willingham officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Sunday from 1 until 2:45pm.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Sunday at 2:30pm and include Larry Ingram, Jr., Scott Hudson, John Boyd, Bryan Tuggle, Storm Willingham, and Hayden Haulk.
