Mr. Harold Eugene Shaw, age 84, of Lindale passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at a local healthcare facility.
Mr. Shaw was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 7, 1940, son of the late Claude O. Shaw and the late Mary Evelyn Womack Shaw. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Darnell Kay. He was raised in Decatur, Georgia and graduated from Decatur High School in 1959. Mr. Shaw was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Coca Cola and later was a Project Manager for McKinney’s Inc until his retirement. After retirement, he worked for Reynolds Plantation Golf Course on Lake Oconee. Mr. Shaw enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Shaw; a daughter, Dana Comm (Michael); a stepdaughter, Lisa Boget; two step-grandchildren, Kenzie Boget and Claire Boget; a brother, Kenny Shaw; a sister, Amelia Myers; his former wife and mother of his daughter, Cherry Warren; several nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 10am at Georgia National Cemetery. The Rome American Legion Honor Guard will present military honors.
