Two inmates at the Floyd County Jail are facing felony charges after getting into a physical fight. Reports said that Beth Raylene Neighbors, 50, used a broomstick to beat 32 year-old Paige Loretta Sagar in the face. Sagar is also accused of physically hitting Neighbors.
Both are charged with battery and unlawful acts in a penal institution.
Neighbors has been in jail since October 30, 2024 after violating her probation.
Sagar has been in jail since May 1 after a court order from Judge Bryan Johnson.
