Aidyn Kasey Thomas Dyer, 19 of Green Bay, was arrested in Rome after reports said he attempted to hijack a UPS truck after absconding a child from Wisconsin and transporting her to Georgia.
Reports added that Dyer collided with another vehicle and mailbox on Burnett Ferry Road and then fled the scene.
Officers said that when they found Dyer, he gave them two different names and dates of birth as his own.
Dyer is charged with hijacking a motor vehicle, interference with custody, hit and run, two counts giving false information to police, duty upon striking a fixture and failure to yield the right of way.
