The soul of Donald Scott Voils, Sr., aged 60, departed this earthly dwelling on April 9, 2025. Born in Rome, Georgia, February 24, 1965, he was the treasured son of the late Donald Ralph Voils and the late Shirley Barlow.
Donald is survived by his devoted wife, Kim Voils; his children, DJ, Lincoln, Crystal (Bobby) Wilson Chris; his grandchildren, Caleb, Gavin, and Aiden; his nephews, Kyle and Rob Kessler; his brother, Jeff; his sister, Christy; and his niece, Cayla.
In the quiet of his retirement from SSDI, Donald found time to savor the sacred, small, daily miracles that pass, unnoticed by many but were never lost on him. He cherished time with his loved ones, found solace in familiar places, and lived as one whose compass pointed always toward love.
As we commit his memory to the eternal, we do so with hearts full of sorrow yet uplifted by the hope of reunion in a land where farewells are no more. His life, though finite in its span, echoes eternally in the lives he touched.
Visitation will take place at 12 PM until the Funeral hour at Pisgah Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 2 PM at Pisgah Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Dudley officiating. Internment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
